World Food Day was created in 1979 by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, and is celebrated around the world on October 16th. It is a time to raise awareness about hunger, and gives us a chance to consider ways to act to end hunger abroad as well as locally.
We hope you will join us in the movement to raise awareness and end hunger. You can help by donating much needed items at one of the following events; or better yet, make a donation and help us serve more children in need in our own community.
