National Philanthropy Day is recognized on Nov. 15 to celebrate the charitable work done by volunteers. Whether you’re a donor or a volunteer, what you do makes a difference. We are thankful for our volunteers and supporters each and every day!
Most recently, one such BPB volunteer we would like to thank at this time is Terri Maultsby. Terri was instrumental in organizing our recent fundraiser at the Greensboro Country Club. The fundraising luncheon with cookbook author Lisa Leake was Terri’s brainchild, and would not have happened without her involvement. Terri took charge of planning and promoting the event and thanks to her efforts we raised over $11,000 for our Fresh Food Initiative which provides fresh fruits and vegetables to children in need.
Terri is a certified health coach, wellness teacher and blogger, cooking instructor and yoga teacher! Terri’s business, “Think. Eat. Grow.”, teaches individuals and organizations to make the right choices for wellness. Her passion is to equip her clients with the tools for healthy living through food, exercise and mindfulness.
Thank you Terri!
