During the holiday season, the Carolina Hurricanes conduct their annual toy drive and pajama drive in hopes of bringing holiday cheer to deserving children across the state. Donations will be collected through December 20th. Fans bring new, unwrapped toys or pajamas to the PNC Arena in December or to participating Belk stores across the state for a chance to win one of 25 prizes. Proceeds from the drive will benefit BackPack Beginnings, the Pajama Program of Raleigh, and the Greater Life Outreach nonprofit organizations.
The Pajama Program of Raleigh aims to give new pajamas and books to children in need in Raleigh with the goal of giving each child a warm, good night. BackPack Beginnings works to provide children in need with comfort items, nutritious food and other necessities to help create a community of healthy and well-nurtured children. Greater Life Outreach’s goal is to make sure that no child goes without something under his or her tree during the holidays.
BackPack Beginnings is so appreciative of our supporters, especially during the holiday season.
