BackPack Beginnings has created teaching material for Guilford County classrooms and beyond! The purpose of the Hunger 101 curriculum is to provide a platform through which to engage and educate local children on the issues of hunger and food insecurity.
By educating our children to better understand this widespread issue, we hope to raise awareness of hunger in Guilford County. Thank you to Guilford County Schools for including it on their website as well.
Our curriculum has been created with Elementary, Middle and High School students in mind and can easily be adapted for school clubs, church groups and home learning. Check it out for yourself!
