Happy #GivingTuesday! “Giving Tuesday” is a movement created to kick off the giving season following Black Friday and Cyber Monday. In the same way that retail stores take part in Black Friday, the giving community is encouraged to come together for #GivingTuesday. According to GivingTuesday.org, more than 2,500 charities, businesses, schools, religious and community groups participated in 2012. This year will be the second-annual event. Check out their website to see how people around the world are giving TODAY.
Please take a moment and consider making a donation to your favorite charity. Donate food and supplies to a local food pantry, organize clothing drive, or host a bake sale. Get your kids involved! Anything helps those in need.
