Who Can Shop
The Family Market is open to Guilford County families with children under the age of 18 in the household.
Schedule an Appointment Before Coming
Please use the green button below to schedule, reschedule or cancel your appointment. If you need another appointment after you visit us, our online scheduling system will open to you 30 days after your last appointment. Please allow extra time for your first visit so that we can collect household information that is required from Second Harvest Food Bank. IDs and immigration status are NOT required. Current Market hours:
- Mondays, 1-4 pm
- Tuesdays, 9:30 am-12:30 pm
- Wednesdays, 12-4 pm
- Thursdays, 2-4 pm
- Fridays, 9:30-12:30 pm
We ask that you shop only for your own household and try to keep your visit to one hour. We value children and for their safety, please supervise them while in the market.
Please help us keep Family Market appointments available for other families by going online to reschedule OR cancel, if you are unable to make it.
Failure to reschedule or cancel your appointment will result as a “no-show” in our system. After 3 no-shows, your account will be “under review”. At that point, staff will reach out for further communication. If no-shows persist, your account will be paused and staff will connect you to other resources that may better suit your schedule.
