March is Social Work Month. Here at BackPack Beginnings, social workers are crucial to our mission; helping children in need. Social workers help us to connect with those who need our help. Did you know that social workers visit our office every week? They make frequent trips to gather clothing and other supplies for their clients, and we are proud to support these valued members and unsung heros of our community. They work very long hours in high-stress and high-pressure situations striving to make a difference in people’s lives.
The social work profession can help strengthen communities by helping to mend broken families and help families get back on track. We would like to thank all of the social workers and child service agencies whom we have been privileged to work with over the years.
If you would like to donate to our food or clothing pantry, please visit our donate items page. Want to host a food drive or make a monetary donation? Your donations will allow us to serve more children in need. Thank you!
