BackPack Beginnings’ ‘Make an imPACK’ Campaign a Success!
Greensboro, NC – BackPack Beginnings, a local nonprofit, announced the results of its annual fundraising campaign called, Make an imPACK. This year’s goal was to raise $30,000 to help fund its 2017 operating budget and expand programs to reach more children in need. Not only, was the goal reached but an additional $20,000 in donations was collected.
“This was our most successful fundraising drive to date having raised a total of $50,000,” says founder, Parker White. “In addition to all the financial support we’ve received, we also want to thank our supporters for the years of support and volunteer hours. We appreciate all of it immensely.”
BackPack Beginnings serves 6,000 children through their four programs which provides food, comfort and clothing to local children in need. They serve children in need in 38 Guilford County Schools and 20 Child Assistance Organizations in Guilford, Forsyth and Alamance Counties.
“Thank you again. We are humbled by the amazing generosity and promise to keep charging forward into the future. Stay tuned for the many ways your donations will have a big imPACK in the coming year!” says Parker White.
