GREENSBORO, NC (November 24, 2014) – BackPack Beginnings has the perfect gift! This December, skip the long lines at department stores and give a gift that matters while supporting a wonderful cause. Purchase our Honor Cards and you will help feed and comfort local children in need. For a minimum purchase of $5 for our Food BackPack Program card, you can feed a hungry child for an entire weekend. For a minimum purchase of $15 for our Comfort BackPack Program card, you can provide a Comfort BackPack to an abused/neglected, foster, homeless or refugee child.

“Our Honor Cards symbolize the true spirit of giving and allows people to turn gift giving into a way to help those in need. I can’t think of a better holiday gift than that. Last year we were able to help 410 children through the purchases of our Honor Cards,” says Founder, Parker White.  Honor cards can be purchased at the following locations.

Sacred Garden Bookstore at 215 West Fisher Avenue in Greensboro
Simply Meg’s at 3334 West Friendly Avenue in Greensboro

If you would like to purchase one or more or your organization would like to sell our donation cards, please email parker@backpackbeginnings.org.
