BackPack Beginnings has partnered with Fiat of the Triad to literally “Fill a Fiat”. Ever wonder how much room a Fiat REALLY has? We are getting ready to find out.
Fiat has earned the European Car of the Year Award more times than any other manufacturer. If you have ever wanted to check one out, this is the perfect opportunity.
Starting today, October 15th, you can drop non-perishable food items, such as oatmeal, canned veggies, fruits, soups, beans, pastas, rice, spaghetti sauce, canned tuna, peanut butter, jelly, grits and granola bars, 3915 W. Wendover Avenue in Greensboro. Just be sure to leave the glass containers at home.
If you don’t want to venture out in the rain today, no worries. You have until November 29th to participate. In fact, I plan to take my boys to make a donation at both the beginning AND the end of the drive because I know them….and they are going to be seriously curious as to how full that Fiat will get. This is a fun and tangible way to get the whole family involved in giving back to our community.
All donations go directly to feed Guilford County students in need. So, come on out and “Fill a Fiat” in order to fill up the hungry students in our community.
